Land Rover Defender 130
Likes: It can seat up to eight people comfortably. Legendary off-road capabilities still retained. You can now option for the lovely eight-cylinder engine from the 90 and 110.
Dislikes: Certain angels make the 130 look ungainly. Dear lord, it's expensive!!
Overall: A Defender for the family. We are waiting for the Urban-friendly 80.
BMW 4-series Convertible
Likes: Strong range of engines to choose from. BMW has brought back the charm it has been lacking.
Dislikes: Front fascia takes a lot of getting used to. Cramped rear seat. Overly aggressive engine stop/start system.
Overall: It's more refined than the previous generation. However, it's not quite as stylish.
Mercedes GLB
Likes: Optional third-row seat. All engines offer strong performance. It's easy to navigate around town and on the motorway. Interior quality has been vastly improved.
Dislikes: Dual-clutch auto gearbox is awful at low revs.
Overall: It's a handsome overall package that is in desperate need of a new transmission. A ZF 8-speed would do wonders here.
