Avril Lavigne's latest new single "Alice" takes the lead track of "Alice In Wonderland's" soundtrack. This song is very nicely arranged with very interesting vocals displayed by Avril. Much of the lyrics in the song have much reference to the movie. (A full review of "Alice In Wonderland"will be posted soon.) Avril's approach with this song seems to be clear. Her vocals are getting better. Her her high notes seem pitch on. Although there's more to be desired with the song's structure and music arrangements. Nothing wrong with a little improvements here and there. Avril did a great job with this song. But the old Avril with her wanna be punk-rock songs will be missed. Not that the new Avril isn't cool. Just when you compare the first album to some of her newer material. The first album will always be the one that takes the cake. Avril is growing up, but does her music have to become more sophisticated and more cliched?
